That it's pretty much violating my rules of what I allow myself to post here (namely, it has to be something I don't want to post on my other blog), but Aughra started talking about TV, and of course, I'm always ready to talk about TV.
Anyhow, ahem... Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah -- I got the NewsRadio DVD! First two seasons of Foley/Tierney/Hartman(-ey)/Root(-ey) goodness, muthahfuckas!

I fucking love that show! And I love Dave Foley. Did I tell you the story of meeting him when I had special tix to KITH in Toronto when I was seventeen cause my best friend and I met Reed Diamond from Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet and he hooked us up with tickets and we met everyone and got everyone's autograph and........

You know, I guessed you were a NewsRadio fan. I figured it had to be the case, given our general sympathetic TV grooving. That's awesome that you met Dave Foley. I'm well past the point of being able to meet any of the cast members now, I'd just be like one of those trekkies, or Chris Farley's bad interviewer character.
"Hey, remember when you read the English-to-Japanese-to-English translation of your book? That was cool."
I know, how can you be cool when you meet people that make you squeal?
